Biolase CTC's are mandatory dental training seminars for all dentists who purchase a Waterlase® MD laser system. These certification courses cover the core skills and techniques necessary to effectively incorporate laser technology into a dental practice.
Master level courses delve deeper into a specific topic and are designed for dentists who have owned and operated a Waterlase® MD laser system in their practice for some time and would like to expand their knowledge in a particular area.
Master training topics offered at our office include Laser Assisted Aesthetic Dentistry, Periodontal-Restorative Techniques for Aesthetic Excellence, and Interdisciplinary Full-Mouth Reconstruction. These dental continuing education courses at our Charlotte practice can range from 6 to 30 participants.


Other Courses
In addition to the BIOLASE dental training seminars, we offer continuing education courses in the Charlotte, North Carolina area on a number of cosmetic dentistry topics. These courses are designed to develop and sharpen the skills that a cosmetic dentist or dental assistant needs to create truly outstanding results.
- Ultimate Aesthetics - Doctors/Assistants (4 days)
Direct/Indirect Cosmetic Excellence Part I: In this hands-on course the focus will be on technique and artistry of direct composite resin, as well as creating composite restorations that mimic nature. Anterior and posterior placement techniques are demonstrated and students apply the techniques during hands-on sessions with over-the-shoulder instruction. Live step-by-step instruction on prep design, composite placement, sculpting, and color and tint placement demonstrate how to obtain undetectable restorations.
Direct/Indirect Cosmetic Excellence Part II: This hands-on course will focus on clinical success that requires a total mastery of case presentation, planning and clinical preparation and placement. In this hands-on course we focus on the case planning, prep design, and material selection for inlay/onlay, crown and veneer restorations. Complex shade matching, laboratory communication and placement techniques will be demonstrated. Students will have the opportunity to apply these techniques during hands-on session. Live step-by-step instruction demonstrates how to take these new techniques to the office and apply them immediately. Adjunctive treatment such as bleaching and Invisalign therapy will also be covered. Course is limited to (20) dentist per session.
- Ultimate Assistant (2 days) – The ultimate in didactic and clinical dentistry for the assistant. This intense two day session includes classroom and step-by-step instruction in a clinical setting. Student will fabricate temporaries on prepared typodont models, different placement and finishing techniques will be demonstrated. Full intra-oral records such as face-bow transfer, bite registration, digital photography, and shade matching will be demonstrated and performed by each student. Course is limited to (20) assistants per session.
